Trenton Cemetery and Keeping Society


The purpose for the society shall be to promote knowledge of all burial grounds, which include the earliest settlers, in the Town of Trenton in Hancock County by encouraging interest in the discovery, restoration, maintenance and preservation of these graveyards. Our purpose shall also be to preserve the records, artifacts and information which relates to the burial grounds and Trenton's early families, their descendants and their daily lives by providing education to the society members and the community at large.

Property Tax

The Town of Trenton offers the option of credit and debit card payments for your transactions, including payment of personal and property taxes. Please note: We use a third-party payment processor, Maine Payport, that charges a 2.5% services fee. The additional fee does not go to the Town. This is the same service provider that is used when payments are made in person in the Town Office.
